NESPL produces various nano powders, uses these powders for manufacturing of some materials, observes usage of such powders in several directions . In "a know-how" basis of nano powders the phenomenon of electric explosion of conductors (WEE) is necessary.

Electric impulse of conductors name the phenomenon with a burst destructions of a metal conductor at passage through it of an impulse of a current of the big density (more than 1010 А/м²). Products of destruction of a conductor are steams and the smallest particles of metal which in certain conditions can co-operate with environment, forming various chemical compounds. Depending on a sort of the gas surrounding a conductor, it is possible to produce powders of metals, alloys and powders of chemical compounds.

Characteristics which distinguish electroimpulse powders from others:

• Very low temperatures of sintering. The silver powder conglomerates at temperature near 70°С;
• Stability of electrophysical properties in the field of low temperatures;
• High chemical activity. At achievement of threshold temperatures (200 500) °С chemical activity increases repeatedly;
• High value of factor of absorption of electromagnetic radiation in a wide range of frequencies.
• The lowered work of an exit of electrons;
• Presence of the superfluous (reserved) energy.
